Course on Lake LBJ to Reopen January 17, 2007
Kingsland, TX, January 15,
2007: The Golf Course at Legends on Lake LBJ will
reopen for play beginning Wednesday January 17th, 2007. Owners
Don and Rob Strain are welcoming everyone back to play and
experience the new Legends. “The golf course has come a long
way after the purchase of the golf facility and Villas in
October 2006. We have been working hard to get the golf course
back into playing condition with over one million dollars in
needed capital improvements made to the course and operations
over the last 90 days. I owe it to our great team of staff
members, employees, vendors, resident homeowners, landowners
and the local developers. Without their willingness to work
together, we would not have this opportunity for Legends golf
course and residential community to become one of the best
golf and living experiences that the Hill Country of Texas has
to offer”, said owner Rob Strain.
The Legends Club will be a
semi-private facility within a residential community featuring
one of the best Hill Country golf and living experiences in
the region. The 18-Hole Championship Course, designed by PGA
Touring professional, Tom Kite, along with architects Roy
Bechtol and Randy Russell, features 7,260 yards of solitude,
elegance and convenience along with challenging golf for the
scratch golfer, yet forgiving enough for the beginner,
offering both links style and Hill Country golf at its very
best.
Located in the Texas Hill
Country - northwest of Austin, Texas in the Horseshoe
Bay/Marble Falls Region of Texas; the course will be available
for play with tee times beginning Wednesday January 17th 2007.

Weekday guest fees will be
$33.00 per person and weekend and Holidays rounds are $40.00
per person including golf cart and warm up range balls per
